Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and PikuBots ("we", pikubots.com) for the PikuBots game, this website and its online services. By playing PikuBots you agree to them. The game can add its own rules, such as a contest's official rules; they apply together with these terms. If you got PikuBots from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Your account

Keep your password and your devices safe; you are responsible for what happens on your account. If an account has no email address, we may not be able to restore it when the password is lost. Your account is yours: do not share, sell or transfer it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play PikuBots for your own entertainment. The game, its robots, art, music and names belong to us.

Virtual items

Coins, gems and other currencies, and the items in PikuBots, are a limited licence to use inside the game. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything outside the game, and cannot be sold or transferred. Unless the law says otherwise, purchases are final. Refunds of store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies; if a purchase is refunded, we remove what it gave, which can leave a negative balance. We may change, rebalance or retire items and features, and if we ever close PikuBots we will announce it in the game in advance.

Rewarded ads

PikuBots may let you choose to watch an ad for a reward. The reward is given when the ad is confirmed as watched, and the game may set a daily limit. Watching ads is always optional.

Random items

PikuBots may have chests, spins or draws whose contents are random. They give in-game items only, never money or anything with a value outside the game. You can ask us for the odds of any random item at hello@pikubots.com.

Contests

PikuBots may run contests, such as daily cups, weekly tournaments or open events. They are contests of skill: the result depends only on how you play. Prizes are virtual in-game items only, with no cash value. No purchase is needed to take part or to win. If a contest lets you buy extra attempts, its rules say whether they count toward the prize. Contests may include computer-controlled players; a place a computer-controlled player holds is not paid. Each contest's official rules are in the game and apply to it. Apple and Google are not sponsors of our contests and are not involved with them in any way. Contests are void where the law does not allow them.

If a contest ever offers a cash or physical prize instead, its own rules say so, and then you must be 18 or older and resident in the Philippines to win, we may ask you to verify your identity and eligibility before it is paid, unclaimed or unverifiable prizes may be withdrawn, and taxes and charges on the prize are the winner's responsibility.

Fair play

Do not cheat, use bots, exploit bugs, tamper with network traffic, attack our servers, harass other players, pick offensive or impersonating names, or copy or reverse engineer PikuBots except where the law allows it. In-game names are public. We may rename accounts, and we may remove results, items or prizes gained by breaking these rules. Use the game's report and block buttons; we review reports and may hide content, rename a player, or limit or close an account that breaks these rules.

The service

PikuBots and its online services are provided as they are and as available. They can be interrupted, and we may change or end features. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, and any dispute goes to the courts of the Philippines, except where the consumer law of your country gives you a right to a different forum.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new date; continuing to play means you accept it. Questions: hello@pikubots.com.
